Our vision for the hotel is to embody both contemporary foresight and the distinctive cultural identity of the village. By establishing a strong relationship with the pier landscape, the hotel acts as a connective element between the waterfront and the village, revitalizing the fishing harbour community and serving as a catalyst for the convergence of nature, culture, and contemporary life.

The design proposal is deeply rooted in Yamen’s cultural and geographical context. Drawing inspiration from the area’s everyday spatial typologies—such as terraces, courtyards, and narrow alleys—the architecture reinterprets these elements through a contemporary lens to reflect the local way of life. This approach pays tribute to Yamen’s cultural heritage while ensuring its continued relevance and adaptability. By respecting historical layers and regional characteristics, the design promotes a harmonious evolution between past, present, and future.
